About

A gathering,not an algorithm

Muslim creators are scattered. A nasheed artist in one city, a reciter in another, a calligrapher somewhere else again — sharing an audience, a tradition and occasionally a stage, and almost never a room.

The consequences are ordinary and frustrating. An event organiser looking for a reciter has no directory and asks around. An artist has nowhere to send someone that presents their work as carefully as they made it. People who should know each other never meet.

Ummah Creators exists to close that distance: 12 artists, 50 films, 6 disciplines, in one place — and, we intend, the largest platform for Muslim artists anywhere.

How this works

01

Curated, not crowdsourced

There is no signup button. Every profile on this platform was placed by hand, because the value of a directory is entirely in what it leaves out.

02

Ordering is editorial

Nobody rises here by posting more often. Who appears first is a decision someone made and can be asked about — not an algorithm nobody controls.

03

The work stays theirs

Artists are featured with permission. We do not claim rights, take a cut of a fee, or sell anything about them to anyone.

04

Disciplines stay distinct

Quran recitation is not performance and is never catalogued as though it were. Each discipline is presented on its own terms.

05

Nothing plays without you

No audio starts on its own, anywhere on this site. Every preview is silent at the file level, so it cannot happen by accident.

Getting featured

We are not able to take everyone, and we would rather say so plainly than run a queue that never moves. If you make work in one of these disciplines, send us what you have — your channels and a few pieces you are proud of. We look at everything.
